From the outset, the goal of the ONE kite was to offer riders the simplicity of using a single kite in all but the most extreme conditions.
Featuring our Swept Anhederal Foil Evolution (SAFE) design, the One allows the rider to maximize the power of a smaller kite thanks to the flatter profile. This equals more power per square meter. This same flat profile works the opposite in stronger winds, allowing the rider to sheet out, putting all the pull on the leading edge of the kite. This is as close to full de-power as we have ever been, while still maintaining control of the kite.
Construction
Built tough with the same materials and construction techniques as our existing tube kites. We've been careful to maintain the rugged construction procedures that have made our kites known as the toughest on the market.

De-power: Thanks to the One’s SAFE design, complete de-power is made possible by simply sheeting out the control bar. Trim the bar in for low-end power, sheet out for handling the gusts.
Turning: Kite looping, wave riding, the ONE won’t hold you back!
Re-launch:
Simply pull on a back line to flip the kite over and up. Traditional re- launch technique use on U shaped inflatable kites will also work. No tangle strut ends minimize the chance of bridling hang-ups during the re-launch.

Ocean
Rodeo introduces the EXPERTS ONLY DIABLO.
Designed as the fastest turning, most exhilarating kite
yet produced by Ocean Rodeo the DIABLO will likely not be for everyone.
Yet, those good enough to appreciate its incredible speed, finesse and
flight characteristics will come to love this devil of a kite.
Designed to be incredibly fast through kite loops while still allowing
for massive hang time the DIABLO answers the prayers of top flight kiters
the world over.
As with all Ocean Rodeo products the DIABLO was designed completely in
house. OR’s kite designer Ross Harrington was able to attain the
fine balance between hang time and turning speed through the addition
of curved wing tips and new attention to the leading edge. The new design
allows for an incredibly high performing kite which also offers a huge
de-power range.
Curving the wing tips allows the kite's centre of effort to actually move
forward upon de-power, not backward as with traditional kites. This allows
the kite to be built with huge de-powerability without fear of the kite
slumping or falling down in the window.
While the kite itself is totally new Ocean Rodeo was careful not to remove
features that have made their company known the world over for quality,
attention to detail and performance. Standard Ocean Rodeo features on
the new DIABLO include:
C3 Technology: Constant Conical Curved leading
edge tube creates a perfectly arced leading edge. The smooth design is
immediately felt in a smoother, more consistent flight.
3D Framework: The DIABLO features a Dacron frame
that includes three strips of Dacron running from Dacron reinforced tip
to tip. This unique design results in a much more durable kite, able to
withstand high speed crashes on the water and land.
Peek-a-Boo Patching: Recessed scuff guards on all the struts help protect
the kite from damage while making line snags a thing of the past.
5th Line Compatible: Combine this with our patented Punch-Out! system
and you can ride secure in your ability to control or escape from your
kite's power anytime you need.

Ocean Rodeo Punch-Out™ bar set and ready for use. Bar can be set up with end of bar spinning leash (back line re-ride), center line spinning leash (front line re-ride), or 5th line. The chicken loop can be released by Punch-Out™ (with both hands on bar thrust bar forward) or manually (grab EJECT release cuff).
SLIDE 2:
Bar activated punch out sequence.
Thrust bar forward and smash bar into Shock and release trigger with full force! Shock protects trigger from the bumps and taps encountered during a normal session.
SLIDE 3:
With release blow delivered, the Punch-Out™ trigger is activated, pulling the EJECT release cuff with it,...you are now free to let the bar go and activate the re-ride system or attempt to regain control of the kite.
SLIDE 4:
Bar is now pulling away, while chicken loop and leash remain attached to the rider. Bar slides up rear line, de-powering kite. Safety Leash features manual EJECT release cuff as well

The Punch-UP Bar can be set up in two ways:
FREE RIDE SETUP (ADVISED) This is our advised set up, allowing the rider to fully depower the kite offering the maximum wind range and safety.
WAKESTYLE SETUP This is for
kiters who want to ride a flat kite hard against the bar stopper (Wake-style
riding). Full depower is not possible in this setup as the sheeting is
restricted.

In the design process for 2 years, the Session Harness is a mix of ideas and concepts from our experience kiteboarding, skydiving, and hang gliding.
If you have been unfortunate enough to have a harness fail while kiting, you will understand our mission to create the toughest, safest harness ever conceived.
Built with the same rugged construction and attention to detail as all Ocean Rodeo products, the Session Harness was designed to be super strong, while at the same time incorporating obvious safety requirements, currently ignored by our competitors. One day all harnesses will be built this way.
Construction:
One of toughest sewn products we could think of was the good old Hockey Skate. We looked at how hockey skates combined both stiff and soft fabrics to make a truly bomber product that was comfortable when worn under high loads.
Sewing:
Sewing Double buck stitch sewing all around.
Fabrics: heavy-duty ballistic nylons, seamless internal webbing power band that supports the hook attachment... everything is double sewn, reinforced and then attached to the internal power band. Rock solid!
Comfort:
Molded thermo foam padding against your body for maximum comfort.

We've put the leg strap hinge point at the hip instead of the lower bum allowing the rider a huge range in leg motion. Unlike traditional harness leg straps that hinder your freedom, there is no leg restriction thanks to the side loading, lock and load leg straps.
Our unique leg strap attachment, (through a "port" located on the top edge of the harness) allows the rider a giant range in harness adjustment height, another first from Ocean Rodeo. Simply thread the clip through the port and clock in.

Because of the "up high" leg strap, you have a huge range of adjustment on the harness height. Ride seat style (low) or waist harness height (mid), without the chance of the harness riding up.
Wear your leg straps inserted into the Session under short! Allowing you to wear your board shorts over the leg straps! It's all about style!
This unique high up leg strap port allows the rider to wear board shorts or pants over the leg straps when worn in combination with the Session Under Short, effectively hiding the straps. As well as looking good, covering the leg straps eliminates one more potential tangle spot for lines.
The leg straps can also be worn over dry suits and wetsuits without the internal shorts.
Leg straps are completely removable so harness can also be worn just a waist harness.
Leash Quick Release
Letting go of your kite with a leash connected to the back of your harness can be a sketchy move in some conditions. If things go wrong you now have the final option of releasing your leash from the back of the harness.
Simply pull the red eject handle next to the harness hook and you'll be free.

We've made every attempt to cover all buckles and potential line tangle
points with the buckle covers.
