The Kheo Air-X is the replacement board for the Air-s. Many changes have been made to make this board truly special. New deck, foot straps, tyres and specifically designed Skate Trucks all make this board super strong, stylish and reliable for Freestyle riding.
New 12mm Sk8 Trucks: The size of the trucks on the old Air-s model and all other brands still use 10mm axles. When riders are landing jumps this is a major weak point, that results in axles breaking and bending. By increasing the axle size it also extends the riders weight limits. Other benefits are that by using 12mm bearings (type 6001 2RS) in place of 10mm, they result in a board that is stronger and more resistant to sideways force... ie. while kite landboarding!
New Deck: A new construction with better graphics and finish. The 05 decks are slightly stiffer than the 04 versions; giving more pop… they’ve been tested by the European Kheo team and got the thumbs up. New clear footpads are placed on the deck making that final finish look superb!
Ergo Click Foot Straps: Ergonomic straps with ratchet system. This allows quick adjustment so you feel comfy, also designed so you can perform foot out tricks easily while offering the maximum comfort and control while freestyle riding.
New Tyres: A new tyre specifically designed for KHEO boards has been produced, that offers excellent grip on loads of different terrains, including sideward grip for kite landboarding.
Stainless Steel fittings: As with all kheo boards they all come standard with stainless steel nuts, bolts and fittings, preventing them from the dreaded rust!!
