I had the perfect opportunity to test this kite a couple of weeks ago, whilst at Brancaster. Conditions were sunny and calm with a steady 8-10mph southerly wind. |

First
impressions suggested the rucksack was slightly larger than the other
bullets, and as ever, the whole package was superbly presented. Nice
comfy flexi handles with safety wrist leashes and a strong looking line
set with coloured coded lines, red, blue and grey. |

After setting up, I launched the kite straight up through the powerzone. The kite rose quickly and with a good pull as its speed increased. Turning was smooth, but slightly slower than the smaller 5.5m when using just the main bridles. Adding a little brake to the turn helped a lot and produced quicker turns whilst maintaining the smooth power. |

The bullets are all about smooth controllable power and this is the case with the 7m. There are no surprises and the pull is progressive and controlled. This makes it an excellent kite for learning traction activities in lighter winds (in fact this was the reason I bought it). By using the brakes to 'sine wave' the kite up and down the edge of the window, the power and speed increased with each turn and I was able to build a good speed on both my Landboard and Buggy. Down-turning produced a good acceleration and the turn was sharp enough to have you going in the opposite direction very nicely and quickly. |

I am really pleased with this kite, especially the amount
of traction generated in lighter winds. When the wind is too light for
a 5m, the 7m will have you cruising up and down whether in a buggy or
on a board, and cruising with a smile on your face too! |
