One of the most important aspects of kitesports is learning to fly your kite safely. Recognising surrounding dangers and having the knowledge of the weather conditions is vital. Without these you can get yourself into serious trouble before you realise it. Our courses allow us to pass on our experiences and teach you when and where to fly or not to fly your kites.

The Powerkite School

courses are structured to allow you to progress from basic to advanced powerkite flying techniques at a speed that suits you. If you want personalised powerkite training we offer our One 2 One courses that puts you and a qualified powerkite school instructor together. Day courses are based around 4 students sharing an instructor, which allows plenty of time throughout the day for powerkite flying theory, teaching, practice and safety to be covered.

Powerkite Taster Course

- A fantastic way to get yourself or a friend introduced into the world of powerkiting. After some saftey intructions you will be let loose for an hour of blasting around with the latest kites the sport has to offer! - all Equipment is supplied.

As these are 1 hour tuition sessions they can be fitted in to suit yourself, after buying a powerkite tuition course we will contact you to arrange the best time.

Basic Powerkite Course

Never flown a four line powerkite before? Then this is the powerkite lesson for you - teaching the very basics of flying four line kites, with kite control tips and safety points. The end of the day see's you having total control of the powerkite in all conditions and situations from unpacking to pack down - all Powerkiting Equipment Supplied.

Traction Course (Buggy / Landboard)

- Done the Scudding, fed up with Big Air and want some traction, our buggy and kite landboarding tuition this is for you. We concentrate on getting you going on wheels in either the buggy or landboard - all Powerkiting Equipment Supplied.

One 2 One Powerkite Tuition

is for those of you who want to fine tune your powerkite technique, gain confidence after a wipe out, or find out why somethings not quite going right! This also gives you the opportunity to tell the powerktie instructor what you want to brush up on with extra tips and feedback from the Instructor - all Powerkiting Equipment Supplied.

Advanced Powerkite Clinics

with Pro Team, Glen Butcher (Butch) or Dan Vaughn (Phat Dan) these sessions are excellent for those serious about extreme traction or just to be taught by the best in the UK Powerkiting. Dan and Butch are not only good at what they do, but are great powerkite instructors too. - all powerkiting equipment supplied. Half Day Group courses. (Max 6)

Groups, Stag & Hen Parties Taste the power of the wind and watch your mates get big air! (up to 12 in a party) - all Powerkiting Equipment Supplied.

Powerkite Conversion Course

- Moving from a powerkite with Handles to a de-powerable bar is not as easy as it looks. Take this 1 1/2 hour conversion course and gain the safety knowledge required to fly depowerable powerkites using a control bar and harness. (1-2-1 Course).
